It is great news that the new section of highway M5 has been built and now reaches Szeged reducing the driving time between Budapest and the regatta course to 100 minutes.
From Budapest take the M5 highway and use exit #166. After exiting you need to turn left at the Stop sign. From here it is another 3 kilometers until you reach a roundabout that is the very corner of the parking area. Follow the signs to the parking lot that stretches on the neighboring airfield.
The parking fee for a day is 800HUF. The parking lot for cars is an approximately 1500-meter long walk away from the entrance. It is possible to approach the entrance gates with bicycles or motorbikes where a guarded storage area is set up. The storage fee for two-wheelers is 200HUF/day.
Only accredited cars will be allowed to enter from Road #5 (Röszkei út)!
