Szombat hajnalban a Cleveland Cavaliers 107–102-re győzött a New Orleans Pelicans ellen az NBA alapszakaszában. LeBron James parádézott, és megdöntötte Michael Jordan rekordját.

A Cleveland kosarasa 27 pontot dobott, 11 gólpasszt adott és kilenc lepattanót szerzett, vagyis egy lepattanó hiányzott a tripla-duplához (mindhárom statisztikai mutatóban kétszámjegyű eredmény).

Bosszankodnia azért így sem kell, hiszen ez volt sorozatban a 867. meccse, amin dobott legalább tíz pontot (a Pelicans ellen már az első negyedben volt neki 11). Legutóbb 2007. január 5-én fordult elő, hogy nem érte el ezt a mennyiséget.
