Prof. Assoc. Tatiana KOVÁEIKOVÁ, PhDUniversity of Zilina, Faculty of Management Science and Informatics, Department of Information Networks, Slovakia. She received her diploma in telecommunication engineering from the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) Zilina in 1984. From 1984 till 1988, she worked in the Slovak Telecom. From 1988 till 1990, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Telecommunications at the University of Transport and Communications in Zilina. Since 1990 she has been working in the Department of InfoCom Networks, Faculty of Management Science and Informatics. Since 2004, she has been working as the Associate Professor at the University of Zilina. Her professional research interests include Next Generation Networks and services. In 2003, she got the SIEMENS award for the research in the field of IP telephony. She has been involved in several international EU funded projects. Since 2002, she has been working in the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standardization Institute) in Sophia-Antipolis, France, as an expert for the Next Generation Networks. She is author of 30 papers published in the proceedings from international conferences, 20 papers published in national and international journals, co-author of 4 text-books and co-author of several ETSI Technical Specifications and Reports.
