Nem sokat gondolkodtam 2019-ben, amikor a Citroën Berlingo aktuális generációja debütált. A Peugeot Rifterként, Opel Combo Life-ként és Toyota Proace City Versóként is piacra került modellkvartettből én az Opelt választottam akkor, nagycsaládosként nem tudtam praktikusabb (és persze gazdaságosabb) alternatívát találni az új autók között. 2020-ban vettük át, a 6 milliós listaárért cserébe közel csúcsfelszereltségű, hosszú tengelytávú Combo Life-ot kaptunk hét üléssel, 1,2-es turbós benzinessel.

Azóta nem is fordulhatott volna nagyobbat a világ.

2023 elejét írjuk, dízel már a négyből egyik márkánál sincs kínálatban, az 1,2-es benzines már csak a Toyotánál elérhető, ki tudja még meddig, de jelenleg a bizonytalan szállítási határidők miatt épp nem rendelhető. A Proace City Verso induló ára egyébként 10,67 millió forint, fapados felszereltséggel, vagyis nyugodtan mondhatjuk, hogy több, mint 100% (!) az áremelkedés 3 év alatt. A néhány évvel a belsőégésűek után debütált elektromos verzió kényszer szülte utólagos farigcsálás eredménye,

ezt a platformot alapvetően nem villanyhajtásra tervezték.

A zöld rendszámos villanyos kivitel alapára 17 millió forint felett van egy kicsivel, a tesztben szereplő verzió ára a Family nevű legmagasabb felszereltséggel viszont már közelíti a 20 milliót (igaz, időközben megszűnt a nagycsaládosok és a villanyautót vásárlók állami támogatása). Ne, még ne kapcsoljon el a kedves olvasó, lesznek itt még finomságok.

Azért lőttem le a poént az elején, mert autós újságíróként úgy helyes, ha kontextusba helyezve szemléljük a világot. Simán lehet agyondicsérni egy Daciát és a porba tiporni egy Mercedes EQS-t, ha előbbi 6 millióért képes komfortosan rugózni és úgy-ahogy elboldogulni terepen, utóbbiban meg 70 millióért csálé a varrás és nyöszörögnek a burkolatok. Tehát egészen más elvárásokat kell megfogalmaznom a Proace City Verso kapcsán most, hogy

elektromos hajtással közel 20 milliót kell érte kiperkálni,

mint amikor pár éve 6 milliót kellett a benzinesért.

Maga a kasztni egyébként tökéletesen ugyanaz, mint a benzinesnél. Számomra a négyesikrek közül a Toyota a legjellegtelenebb formájú, de van, aki szerint pont ez az egyik előnye. Belekötni ugyanolyan nehéz, mint lelkesedni érte. A dobozforma nem szép, nem menő, de mindenképpen a létező legpraktikusabb, ha sok embert és/vagy sok cuccot kell elvinni adott esetben messzire (ami ezzel az elektromos verzióval igazi kihívás, de erről még mesélek). Ez a verzió 4,75 méter hosszú és 188 centis magasságával a legtöbb felnőttnél is magasabb, a rövid karosszériaváltozat 35 centivel rövidebb (a tengelytáv 19-cel) és csak 125-235 ezer forinttal olcsóbb, felszereltségtől függően.

Rengeteg a tárolóhely, a kedvencem a fej feletti polc és az első ülések közötti gigantikus rekesz, amely a mindennapokban iszonyúan jól tud jönni. Viszont az utólagos villanyosítás abból is látszik, hogy

a vaskos, nagy helyet foglaló töltőkábeleknek nincs dedikált helye sehol,

jobb híján a csomagtérben kell tárolni. Hátsó plafonpolc és üvegtető csak a rövid változathoz rendelhető, a hosszabb a kétszer akkora csomagtérrel kompenzál.

Sajnos lerontja az alapvetően otthonos és személyautós hangulatot, hogy a műanyagok egytől egyig kőkemények és olcsó hatásúak (ezen az árszinten ez különösen szomorú), viszont

a műszerfal legalább már digitális,

egy tűrhető felbontású 10 colos TFT kijelző került bele. Az, hogy milyen adatokat szeretnénk látni, személyre szabható, sőt, még a navigációt is ki lehet ide tenni, ami remek. Egyes menürendszeri anomáliákat leszámítva rendben van a használhatóság, a klíma szerencsére külön panelről működik, nem az érintőképernyőről.

Mivel az én Combo Life-omban van, ezért nekem hiányzott a kormányfűtés, a Toyotánál egyébként nem is rendelhető. Furcsa, hogy a tempomat ókori (talán már a 307-esben is ez volt?), kormányoszlopra biggyesztett bumszli Peugeot-kapcsolókarral vezérelhető, az Opel kormányon elhelyezett gombjai sokkal elegánsabbak.

A második üléssorhoz tolóajtókon, a 180 ezeres felárért megvásárolható leghátsóhoz akár a külön nyíló szélvédőn keresztül is hozzá lehet férni.

Hét személy számára minden túlzás nélkül bőséges a térkínálat,

érdekes módon a második sor inkább csak átlagos lábteret és fix székeket kínál, míg a harmadik sorban az ülések teljesértékűek, tologathatóak, összehajthatóak és kivehetőek, itt talán még a vezetőülésnél is kényelmesebben lehet ülni. A plafon egy átlagos felnőtt fejbúbjától számítva bő 40 centire van, a csomagtérbe hét üléssel is lehet elég rendesen pakolni (hivatalosan 210 liternyit), öt üléssel meg a fél lakás befér, ráadásul a hátsó szélvédő külön nyitható, így szűk parkolóhelyen is lehet pakolni.
