Az elektromos hajtáslánc mind a négy márkánál egységes, csak egy opció van. Első kerekeket hajtó 136 lovas, 260 Nm nyomatékű villanymotor egy 50 kW-os, folyadékhűtésű és -fűtésű lítium-ion akkumulátorral párosítva, ugyanaz, mint az Opel Corsa vagy a Peugeot 208 kisautók elektromos változataiban.

Ez a hajtáslánc kb. 350 kg plusz tömeget jelent a benzines Proace City Versóhoz képest,

így 1,8 tonna körül alakul az önsúly. Pedig ez az akkuméret a mai mezőnyben már nem számít nagynak, különösen egy ekkora méretű és homlokfelületű autó esetében.

Szerencsés volt a teszthét olyan szempontból, hogy az első felében napközben is alig ment fagypont fölé a hőmérséklet, a hét második felére aztán kitavaszodott, és 14-15 fokos csúcshőmérsékletek voltak. Újból meg kellett állapítanom, hogy mennyire érzékeny egy elektromos autó az alacsony hőmérsékletre. Ha fűtött a Proace City Verso EV, állandóan mentek a ventilátorok és az ülésfűtés, és néha még a jeget is olvasztani kellett az üvegfelületekről, a fogyasztás így 27 és 30 kWh/100 km közé esett, vagyis a valós hatótáv 170-190 km volt, ha teljesen feltöltve indultam.

Ráadásul az autó saját becslése túlzottan hurráoptimista, induláskor 270 km hatótávot írt ki a kijelző, ebből lett az, hogy 150 km után már 10% körülire merült, és minden létező módon csilingelt, hogy azonnal töltsem fel. Viszont a jó időt nagyon szereti: amikor nem kellett nagyon fűteni, és én is ráéreztem az óvatos, spórolós vezetésre,

felment 230-240 km körülire a hatótáv,

ami persze még mindig nem éri el a gyári WLTP érték alsó határát sem.

Otthon bedugtam a konnektorba, óránként 3% csorgott bele, viszont egyenáramú ultragyors töltővel papíron 100 kW-tal, a gyakorlatban 90-nel sikerült töltenem, ami már egész jó, ez azt jelenti, hogy 20-ról 80%-ig 25 perc alatt el lehet jutni, utána azért érezhetően lelassul. Ha így használnánk hosszú úton, az azt jelentené, hogy 110 km/h-s átlagsebesség mellett (afelett irreális módon nő a fogyasztása a nagy légellenállás miatt), kb. 21 kWh-s fogyasztással

nagyjából 150 kilométerenként kellene egy fél órás szünetet beiktatni,

persze feltételezve, hogy pont jó helyre esik egy méregdrága, autópályás töltő és van is szabad oszlop. Nekem ez még mindig túl sok bizonytalansági tényező ahhoz, hogy gyerekekkel elinduljak az osztrák hegyekbe vagy a horvát tengerpartra, a költségekről nem is beszélve.

Viszont otthon töltve egész jó áron, nagyjából 2,5 literes benzinfogyasztásnak megfelelő villanyszámlából mehetünk 100 kilométert. A Mobiliti vagy a MOL Plugee töltőhálózat már más tészta, ott mérsékelt 50-es sebességű DC töltőket használva is inkább 8-10 literes átlagfogyasztásnak megfelelő ár jön ki, azonban, ha sietnénk, és ezért használnánk az ultragyors DC töltőket (Ionity, Shell Recharge) akkor már 15 (!) literes benzinfogyasztásnak megfelelő üzemanyagköltséggel kellene kalkulálni. Az én szerény kis benzines Combóm hasonlóan használva (110 km/h, tempomat autópálya) olyan 6 liter körül kér.

Vezetni, mint minden elektromos autót, meglehetősen egyszerű a Proace City Verso EV-t is. A csend, a fokozatmentes, egyfokozatú erőátvitel jó dolog, sokkalta nyugalmasabb az elektromos Proace volánja mögött múlatni az időt, mint az én benzines Opelemben, egy dízelhez képest még nagyobb lehet a különbség. Persze

a nagyobb tömeg minden pillanatban érezhető,

kevésbé agilisan vált irányt és nagyobb a tehetetlensége, de a rugózás mintha még javult is volna a felszedett kilóktól és az áthangolt felfüggesztésről. Élményautónak nem nevezném, de az alul lévő akku miatt mélyen van a súlypontja és nem billeg vészesen. Viszont a fékpedál adagolhatósága lehetne jobb, ez gyakori hiba a villanyautóknál a lassuláskor bekövetkező energia-visszatáplálás miatt.
