The cabin "T-10 EARTHER" will be used for space excursion is unveiled during Iwaya Giken "OPEN UNIVERSE PROJECT" start-up press conference in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo on February 21, 2023. The two-seater (pilot and passenger) airtight cabin "T-10 EARTHER" is a sphere which is a little smaller than an adult man in height, and is mostly made of plastic. By using a transparent exterior for most of the circumference, it is easy to see front, back, left and right from inside to make it a design suitable for sightseeing. The seat is equipped with four-point seat belt, and a portable electoric power supply is used. The balloon connected to the T-10 EARTHER rises to an altitude of 25,000m to enjoy sightseeing for 2 hours. The price is expected to be approximately 25 million yen ($192,000). Iwaya Giken will tie up with JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) to begin space trip in the stratosphere.( The Yomiuri Shimbun ) (Photo by YASUHIRO TAKAMI / Yomiuri / The Yomiuri Shimbun via AFP)
